In conjunction with LVCC (Lehigh Valley Coursing Club) - National Oval Track Racing Association (NOTRA) 350 YARD, drag lure.

An opportunity to meet a race meet!

After the meet, we'll have our Match. Our judge will be Jennifer Price, Mwenje Ridebacks. (That's Jen operating the box in the photo above).

Costume class is "My Favorite Sweet". We'll have our fun classes, and our pot luck vegetarian luncheon. Of course, we'll also have our "Famous" Veggie Eating Contest for the dogs. Entry form for our Match.

1. At 1 pm or there-abouts ~ Buffet Vegetarian Pot Luck vegetarian lunch (Stuffed grape leaves, etc.) & Meeting.

2. Puppy Handling Class, Brace Class, Best Yodeler, Curliest Tail, Most Wrinkles, Best Coat, Most Senior senior, Musical Sits and Downs, Trickdogs, Veggie Eating.

From north and east (Morristown, etc)
I-287 S to Route 202 S to Route 179 S (Lambertville) or I-78 W to Route 31 S, (passing the exit for Route 179 West). Where 31 and 202 split about 8 miles south of Flemington, stay on 202 and then Route 179 south (Lambertville). When you come off the exit ramp, continue past the first 2 entrances to the 4-H Fairgrounds (on your right), then go about 500 feet to the last gate on your right.

From south and east (NJ shore)
I-195 to I-295 N which becomes I-95 S, Exit 4 Route 31 N, which joins Route 579 N; where 31N joins Route 202, stay left on Route 579, and take the first left onto Melbourn Lane just after the underpass (the sign might be missing, but if you take the first left, you'll get there). At the end of Melbourn Lane turn left onto Route 179 S and the field entrance will be just over a mile on the right ; OR Exit 1 Route 29 N to Route 179 N to field on LEFT about 5 miles.

From south and west (Philadelphia)
I-95 N to Exit 1 Route 29 N to Route 179 N to field on left about 5 miles OR I-95 N to Exit 4 Route 31 N to Route 202 S to Route 179 S to field on RIGHT, about 500 feet after the first entrance to the 4-H Fairgrounds (on your right), to the last gate on your right.

From north and west (Allentown)
I-78 E to Route 31 S, where 31 and 202 split about 8 miles south of Flemington, stay on 202 and then Route 179 south(Lambertville) to the 4-H Fairgrounds, go about 500 feet past first Fairgrounds entrance to the last gate on your right.

There is no overnight parking at the field. There are limited campgrounds in the area, smiliar distance to hotels.

Premium for LVCC NOTRA June 22/23, 2019

NOTRA - Pre-entries close Friday JUNE 21 at 6:00 pm for LVCC's NOTRA in Ringoes, NJ held on Sat & Sun JUNE 22/23.

350 YARD, drag lure-FYI this is not the modified oval!!  This is the 300 yard track with 50 yards added at finish.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to purebred Afghan Hounds, Basenji, Borzoi, Cirneco dell Etnas, Greyhounds, Ibizan Hounds, Irish Wolfhounds, Italian Greyhounds, Pharaoh Hounds, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Salukis, Silken Windhounds, Scottish Deerhounds, and Sloughi and any provisional breeds for 2015. Hounds must be one year of age or older to be eligible, and must not be lame, sick or in season.
Each hound must have a completed and signed entry form. Those with First Time Entered (FTE) hounds must attach a photocopy of your dog's registration to your entry form, along with a one-time $2.00 registration fee.

HOUNDS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO ENTER WITHOUT A COMPLETED AND SIGNED ENTRY FORM. A completed entry includes the photocopy of the dog's registration for FTEs!!!

ENTRIES
Pre-entries: $12.00 first dog per owner, $10 additional dogs, same owner. Five or more dogs, same owner, $50.00. Pre-entries close Friday May 5th at 6:00 pm.
Pre-entries may be made by phone, e-mail, or snail mail.
Same-day entries: $15 per dog, no multiple entry discount. Entries close 8:30 am. at the Race Secretary's table.

OTHER INFO
Inspection and roll call will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday, 8:30 AM on Sunday.
Race meet will be 3 program, 4 dog races, 350-meter drag lure oval track.

NOTE: All breeds will start from the box except IWs, which will be hand-slipped.
Schooling runs will be required for all FTE dogs before they may compete. Talk to secretary regarding your All breeds must run with muzzles and racing blankets. A limited number of muzzles and blankets will be available for loan. FTE dogs may benefit from muzzle training at home before the meet.

Ribbons for point winners. Rosettes for High Score in Breed. Turtle awards will be offered for each breed.
Additional practice sessions for may be offered after the meet or between programs, time, weather and equipment permitting.

If you're new to NOTRA, it is a sport where all participants are expected to lend a hand.
FACILITIES: There is no shade and NO water available, so please plan accordingly. No overnight parking permitted. No dogs are allowed off-leash, other than when racing. There is no overnight parking at the field.
FOOD: BYO, there are no local fast food places but there is a QuikChek near-by on Rt. 31 and a deli in the town of Ringoes.
