Karen Christensen so does my aloe plant in the living too, but it hangs in there.

Tamara Allen Because of Tippy, our lime tree in a pot in our backyard now needs more soil. She jumped up there into the pot and dug like a maniac. Soil all over the loveseat cushion, all over everything. Then she looked at my like I was nuts for sweeping it up and putting it back.

As the Tail Turns

BASENJI GONE WILD

by Santa Usenko

Something super strange and surprising happened last weekend, and I want to share it with you, if you have nothing to do you can read our super long true story.

So - this is what happened last weekend.

It was normal Saturday morning, as usually we went to countryside. In the countryside, dad went to a walk with Rufuss. They went to forest down by a sand road and when they were about 500 m from the forest, dad took Rufuss's leash off, and Rufuss was just running and enjoying freedom, when suddenly he ran away into forest and dad coudn't call him back.

Always when Rufuss runs away we hide somewhere and Rufuss immediately gets back and NEVER during the that day runs away again.  So did my dad, they were going on road where on both sides were ditches and in front were forest, and when Rufuss ran away to forest and dad didn't see him, so dad hid behind a tree in a little ditch. So dad was waiting for Rufuss to see that dad is gone. About after 3 minutes, dad heard someone's running on road to him, he got up to say that Rufuss is a good dog.

But not so fast. It was Rufuss, but he brought from forest a huuuuuge deer running exactly to my dad, like 2 meters away. It was my LITTLE Rufuss running very proud behind a deer. Then deer ran to a little river and jumped across, and while Rufuss was thinking how to get over, deer was already too far away. Of course Rufuss went over to the river, sniffing where the deer had gone.

When I heard what happened my mouth was just opened and I looked to my little bunny and couldn't believe it. He ran into the forest and brought from it a deer exactly to dad. Well that is what I call a hunting dog  Wait, wait, wait - it wasn’t someone small or medium size, it was a huge deer! If there were hunter... Rufuss did an excellent job, and I still can't believe it happened.

Next day Rufuss already knew WHO is living in the forest and couldn't wait to meet again.  He was sniffing all around and searching his new friend. So sad that I didn't see this live, and didn't have the camera, but I think I couldn’t take photos in that second, when you expect to see Rufuss but see a huge deer 2m far from you! In photo you can see the road and further the forest and my little bunny. I can't call him a bunny now, now he is a real MAN.
