The Lost Basenji
by Ethan Walters (age 7)

Ethan Walters

Once there was a lost Basenji.
She was looking for her family.
She felt hungry, but nobody would feed her.
Then she found a nice person who let her come inside his house to get warm.
And he gave her some yummy food.
The next day the nice man put out posters that said ‘Lost Basenji’.
Two days later the little Basenji’s family called and said,
“that’s our dog, we miss her, and we love her”.
So then they came to pick her up.
She loved her family, and they all thanked the nice man.

The End
