February 7th, 2011 Sassy and Scrapper were overjoyed with the gift print they received today. Well, maybe not, but we appreciated it. We’ll have to get them to live up to their new reputation as “Household Helpers” by finding some chores for them to do around the house. I did point out to Kristin recently that they sort of served as bed warmers on cold winter nights…………MIKE REED February 8th, 2011 Thank you so much for the super drawing of Mr. Trill. It's already such a pleasure to be a part of the Rip van Wrinkle family, sharing with you our stories and photo's. To have Mr. Trill himself on this drawing makes it extra special, I recognize so much of Trill in our dogs………….YVONNE ‘T MANNETJE February 2nd, 2011 I enjoyed the Feb. Wrinkler very much. January 26th, 2011 Great magazine, as usual. I especially appreciated Topper's inclusion in the memorials: he is in very good company, with Trill and Tutsi and the others. It was fun to see an old photo of him with his old buddy Stanley. Thanks……..........................................…..ANNE MACMILLAN MacMillan photo PS. This is one of the funniest things Donald has ever captured! We think the hound came running up to Stanley and did a sudden screeching stop-and-turn, Stan was just standing there.... January 24th, 2011 Susan: Lovely ! Bravo !......................JEAN DODDS HEMOPET/11561 Salinaz Avenue January 26th, 2011 Fantastic as usual!!!! I enjoy reading it and looking at all the fun pictures. The Wrinkler has again made me laugh, cry and think of friends near and far. Thank you for all the work you put into it and thanks to all for sharing all the stories, pictures, art work, etc……....................SUE SCHULZ February 15th, 2011 We received Ivan and Dasa’s award for their Household Helpers entry in the Wrinkler. This is such a lovely print; we quickly put it in a frame to keep Ivan from eating it........................................…….PEGGY PICK {ED - This is the Certificate} |
January 25th, 2011 I loved it. Every time I see a picture of Trill, I always think that he is the most beautiful basenji I have ever seen. What a gorgeous dog. January 25th, 2011 adorable……….JANYCE SELKIN & THE P'NUTZ GANG January 25th, 2011 Hi Sue, Just read the Wrinkler and had to shed more tears for Trill and Beeko. Didn't know you would put his page in the Wrinkler and being that I was very fond of Trill, had to grab a hanky....KATHRYN LADICK February 4th, 2011 Susan, Many many thank yous for sending the Wrinkler even though I am so way behind on my dues. It was a tough year, health problems for me (my dogs, knock on wood, are all fine) and I've been trying to keep things going in spite of household budgeting. ………………………………KATHE AND PETEY ROMEO

January 26th, 2011 Great job, as always, Susan. Loved the Under Covers feature, loved seeing Ruby among them. It's funny how my heart leaps when I see a picture of her (who says they all look alike?!) - for a split second I forget that she's gone. I also enjoyed "Bubba and the Refrigerator". There was a boy who knew how to amuse himself! (And I bet the fridge repairman still enjoys telling the story, too.) Debby Mayer's "An Old Dog's Winter Night" brought tears to my eyes, in part because I experienced a similar routine with Ruby in her last two years, along with many of the same emotions; and because it was so tenderly written. Kudos well deserved.........CHEY MILLER February 4th, 2011 I like Ethan Walter's "The Lost Basenji" picture very much and think that it would make a fine T-shirt……….SUSAN CHUVALA
February 15th, 2011 Thank you very much for the lovely certificate!! I am doing my best to keep Mom's butt warm while we share the computer chair here today. It's a bit chilly outside again, and we are both eagerly waiting for spring!....luv…DAWN DONALDSON {ED - Our club sends yearly donations to Karen Jones’ Medfly Basenji Rescue.
