New OFA Update - as of Monday, May 4th, they have resumed normal operations!

*

*** OFA Operations Update ***

The State of Missouri has extended the mandatory stay at home policy and closure of all non-essential business through May 3rd. This has a significant impact on the OFA’s ability to receive and process applications. Through a VPN, we have provided most of our employees with connectivity into the office which allows some level of business to continue through work at home activities. However, it will certainly not be ‘business as usual’, and turnaround times and service levels will be reduced during this time. Your patience is appreciated as we remain compliant with city mandated directives, and balance our operations with the health, safety and well-being of our employees.

*** Update Regarding the OFA/University of Missouri DNA Tests ***

As of Wednesday, April 15, the University of MO has granted permission to resume lab operations on a limited basis. With this announcement, the OFA will resume accepting orders. Please be advised, while new orders will be processed, turnaround time will continue to be affected as the majority of the OFA staff is working remotely, and the University of MO lab will have strict limits on the number of personnel allowed in the lab at any time. Both the University of Missouri and the OFA appreciate your patience as we balance operations with concern and safety for our employees.

We continue to monitor the official guidelines and if there are any further changes or closures, they will be posted here. Again, thank you for your patience, and stay well!
