Karen Christensen’s Tutu got her FC & her ORC (2nd Place at the OB Nationals), FC Apu Pi De Deux SC GRC ORC.

The Stewart’s Xander got his FCh, his FC, & his GRC which makes him DC Meisterhaus Deal or No Deal SC FCh GRC.

The Stewart’s Trog got his AKC FC. FC Apu Tri Roo of Ganesa SC FCh JOR.

The Stewart’s Annie the whippet got her Rally Novice title AND her ASFA FCh. Heartland HH Lamborgini Diablo SC RN FCh.

Susan Marsicano’s Fern got her CH from Bred-by & also her GRC & her SC. She qualified for a BCOA Versatile Basenji Excellent honor & recieved an AKC invitaiton to the Eukanuba for the next 2 yrs. Ch. Apu Painted Sand RN SC GRC CGC/TDI  VBX.   

Susan Marsicano’s Scarlet got her AKC Senior Courser title & also her GRC. She qualified for a BCOA Versatile Basenji honor. FC Apu PiNache RN SC GRC CGC/TDI VB. She ran undefeated in NOTRA.

Beth Redo Rahm’s Drama finished her CH. Taji RoseWood Oh the Drama. ins at the national week. At the Lexington show on Sat., week of the Nat'ls, Rhodie, Ch.RoseWood's Put'N on the Ritz won BOB over some of the top five basenjis. Very Thrilling. Then at the Hoosier speciality Drama Taji RoseWood Oh The Drama! won BOS in Sweeps under Damara Bolte!

Susan Marsicano’s M got her NAP, NJP & NFP titles, with lots of blue rosettes, at 11.5 yrs old. She also got 2 firsts in Open Preferred. Ch. Apu Little Red Lentil RE AX MXJ NAP NJP NF NFP GRC CGC TDIA MVB.

Donna Hess’ Jessie finished her ASCA Nov Std & Jumpers titles, all in the BLUE ribbons & with times that smoked the youngsters!!!
Seniors RULE!!!
Gunner is still a work in progress & had a few mistakes but got his Jumpers title with placements & he only needs five more points for his Std. title.

Susan Marsicano’s Occhi got his Novice FAST title with a 1^st & 2nds. FC Apu Occhi Belli RA OA NAJ MC NF LCX2 FCh SOR GRC CGC TDIA MVB. He needs a few pts. for his LCX3.

Susan Marsicano’s Amelia got her Master Courser title. FC Apu Afternoon of a Fawn RA MC FCh GRC JOR CGC TDIA VBX.

Chris Maxka's Pi son Cowboy is new champion. Ch. SunDiata's Desert Cowboy.

Kathryn Ladick’s Rocky got his SGRC3, with a 1st at the Nat'ls & his SORC, also with a 1st, + he won the "September to Remember Hatch Memorial Award"! Kiroja Chicago Hood At Jaroufa SGRC3 SORC.

“A little Toulouse final story:

Toulouse kept the squirrels & chipmunks off of our porch & out of the bird feeders.  It was one of his many jobs. All we had to do was say "squirrel" & all would come run out the back door.  This past year Toulouse has not been so alert. The squirrels & chipmunks not only consumed more of there share of bird food but also checked out the possibilities in the house & they developed a fondness of dry dog food.  We kept the back door open during good weather so that the dogs could go in & out at will. 

About three weeks ago as I entered the kitchen, a squirrel slowly sauntered out the back door from under the table.  I still heard some crunching coming from there, & Toulouse was enjoying some crackers.  Those crackers were on top of the table a short time before.  Now Toulouse had not been able to get food off of the table for some time.  This means that the squirrel had removed the crackers, they had fallen under the table & before I entered the kitchen, the squirrel & Toulouse were sharing in the bounty.  Peace among former foes at the end of Pinecliff. It is so hard - such a gentle loving boy - if only they could live forever - as you well know.”

 Lotte & Ray Hotaling on the loss of Kodi, Kodiak Dream of Alaska.

“He was an amazing fellow, despite the grotesque mess his nose had become from his cancer, he was still able to catch biskies & retain his happy disposition. The last two days were more rough, the nose bled quite a bit one night & you could tell that Kodi was starting to give up. He ate one last good meal that sapped about all the energy he had & he didn't even bother to get up from his bed when the vet came. He went out peacefully, but it's we who are left behind that shoulder the burden of the pain. But that's what animal lovers do. His last awareness was of us stroking him, and that's not a bad way to go."

Lisa & Dave Mackey on the passing of "BONK" aka Mr. B, Bonkadoodle.....Feb 11, 1998- October 18, 2009. Chinese Crested Rescue dog. He was a lively, intense, emotional little dog. Could be a total pain in the ass, actually. Has what was probably a very fast (and sneaky) cardiac/pulmonary breakdown. He died in my arms at 4am this morning. I'm glad I was there. He will be tremendously missed.

Special thanks and condolences to Kathryn Ladick on the passing of Quinn, Apu Snarfling Rutabega. She took him in when he was no longer wanted at the age of 13+ and is a saint for trying so hard to give him late life love and peace and happiness.
