On Easter weekend, the most hilarious run I have seen: while lure coursing, coming around the final turn, one of the bags tore off, hit Tempest in the face then slid down her back snagging in her tail. She ran the last 100 yds into the finish with a white bag billowing off of her tail. I do believe she scored the Easter bunny today.

Joe called to tell me our contractor had brought over the new pump for our goldfish pond and that Tempest was anxiously awaiting the return of her fish to the pond. He then told me how he had just sat down to a plate of biscuits and gravy, when he had to go out to the backyard for the contractor and that he had a very clean plate when he came back in.

$50 of new dog chew toys - guess what amuses Tippy the most? Ice Cubes! Tippy: Armani is my own personal chew toy. Nom Nom Nom.....

Tamara: Owww, nonononononnonoooooo...... and hands her an antler.

Karen P. Christensen

Now she knows how to get antlers! Good training!

One little girl dog sitting at the top of the stairs waiting for me when I get home, tail doing donuts on her back, barooing, yodeling, talking non stop to me, facelicks, climbing into me....priceless!!!

Kohlette must have had a busy little doggie morning, when I got home for lunch I was greeted by many, many noises, she had so much to tell me!

Tutu gave me such a nice rooodle last night I wondered what she had been up to!

Nothing can talk quite like a Basenji; for dogs that don't bark they are amazingly expressive, vocally.

This afternoon two deer ran alongside the perimeter fence; Kohlette stood there transfixed, then came flying back to me with a surprised look in her eyes that said "Mommy, you won't believe what I just saw!!!"

Just repaired a pillow from Moyo's basket -it could be repaired this time- I caught him in the act!! And how do you think Moyo reacts when I tell him "NO" .... with a very big barroooohooooo ......

So Regan does the funniest thing, On days when she stays home in her LTCA, when I let her out, she always runs around the room and then I tell her, "Regan, don't forget your purse!" She runs back into the pen to get it. Then she runs around the house with Zepar's purple purse.

I have noticed that the amount of chaos in the house is inversely proportional to the amount of exercise Regan gets.

Curious.

I tell L'Ox don't lay on the littlest man because he has finally calmed down and napping so of course he not only lays on him he throws himself down onto Kyo making him squeak. Kyo has now crawled out from under his cousin and is using him as a pillow. At least L'Ox didn't really wake him up.

Solomon took my iPhone/alarm set for 5:30 a.m. from my bedside table into his den this morning... and we missed the bus! by like an hour and a half! Grateful he didn't chew up or even scratch the screen. Boys upset they're missing school, especially now that they realize they can't lounge in front of the TV, but have to join me running errands.

If it weren't for the red marks on my chin I might be able to convince someone we (Tippy Allen & I) were singing..

Special Note to friends from Natalie and Harry Culver:

Dear friends,

Because we know you care about us we want to tell you our excitement over our much wished for child.  Harry and I were eagerly anticipating a little boy in early May.

Without warning our plans changed this week when James Michael Culver needed to be brought into this world early, born Tuesday 24 Jan 2012, at 2:12pm.  He was a perfect sweet little boy.  We were blessed with two special days under the excellent care of the NICU staff at UConn Hospital in Farmington, CT and feel blessed that Natalie had excellent care there as well.

We had hoped for so much more time with James but will always remember our love for him and his love for us.

If you wish to give in James’s memory we suggest the UConn Health Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit fund.
