New Titles & Kudos:

Sue Schulz's Kojak is now GCH SunDiata's Pickwick Edition CGC THDN, adding the Therapy Dog Novice to his name!

Sue Schulz's Hanna completed her conformation championship with a 4 point major. CH Destiny's Pickwick's Simply Bliss. This is Sue's first home bred champion!

Also - "Great day today at Rockland County KC dog show for Destiny Basenjis; Kojak x Ella puppies. Elliott, Destiny's American Hero, went Winners Dog for a 4 point Major! Huge congratulations to Elliott and Julie Frohlich."

Susan Marsicano’s Fern got her Master Excellent FAST title (MXF). She needs under 100 points for her MACH. Ch. Apu Painted Sand RN MX MXG MXJ MJS MXF T2B THD CL3 RS-N JS-O SC FCh SGRC ORC SOR CGC TDIA MVB.

Susan Marsicano’s Fiddle got her AX title. She got a FIRST as well, just back from having her puppies. CH Apu Sweet Baby James RN AX AXJ XF FCh ORC GRC MVB. Now she can accumulate MACH points!

Chris Maxka - SunDiata has a new champion: Ch. SunDiata's Winter Solstice Sun. Chui finished his title with 4 majors. His sire is Ch. SunDiata's Twelve Drummers Drumming, "Zig," who escaped from his yard shortly before Chui was born and was never seen again. Chui is the spittin' image of his lost papa.

Wendy Hodges' Jillian - First trial, 3 Qs with 2 second and 1 first placements. Her second trial and 2 more Qs in Novice FAST (2nd place) and Novice Standard (1st Place!).

Kim McNeill's Zest! - Well, this is very nice! Evidently the World Canine Freestyle Organization gives you a medal if you get a qualifying score with a basenji! Zest! and I got our first leg (qualifying score) towards our Team Freestyle Dog, which is the beginning level.

They even sent medals to our other teammates (Pam with Orion, Georgeann with Piper, Pat with Cricket and Jackie with Tige) because, you know, they were brave enough to attempt an obedience type competition with a basenji teammate. So, do performance sport/event with a basenji, get a medal. Yep, that sounds about right!

She also got her instinct and one novice leg in Barn Hunt.

Car stcker of Fiddle, gifted to S K-M by Yvonne 't Mannetje, made beautifully by Eva Boerekamps. Sticky Dog On Facebook

{I know there is other stuff to report from our club members, but they need to give me the info.}

Brenda Phillps' Zippie and brother Oberon did well at their first show.

Paul Mount and Zuri missed qualifying for finals by a single fault at Westminster.

Karen Christensen's Rip redid his QC successfully, running with Tutu, as his mom misplaced the piece of paper from his fist QC.

Andrea Stone's Regan - "On a lark we ran in a CAT test and she passed (unsurprisingly), she also recently earned another leg toward her MC and a point or so toward her LCX. She is also 4 little points away from her Bronze Grand Champion title. She had some awesome Rally scores!"

Andrea Stone's Turkish - "On the same lark (and looking for a little practice) also passed the CAT test and then earned his Qualified Courser the following week. He followed that with a WD/BOW for 2pts. Very proud!"

New Additions:

Kathryn Ladick added Tamina, Avangora Warrior Princess, to her pack, to be Hunter's future "bride".

Rhoda Burnes' new lad is Miles.
